At Sweet Lotus we teach Vinyasa-based yoga classes for all student at all levels.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links poses together so that students move seamlessly from one to another using breath and fluid movement. Vinyasa is often called “flow” yoga, and gives students the feeling of being in a smooth, dance-like moving meditation.

Beginner yoga is the place to start. It's the non-judgmental place to come and discover the freedom and joy that comes from a yoga practice. No experience is required and nothing will be asked of you, other than that you show up. Learn the basics of yoga to help connect with your body, relieve stress, and fall in love with your practice.
Back to Basics is a step above Beginner and teaches us to slow down and zoom in on specific aspects of our yoga practice. Learn about alignment, how and when to use props, beneficial breathing techniques, yoga philosophy, meditation, and more.
Gentle classes are the first step into the beautiful, flowing feeling of Vinyasa yoga. These classes are low-impact and slower-paced, great for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. Learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga including breathwork, transitions, proper alignment, and how to modify poses and use props to build confidence in your practice.
Moderate classes build on the fundamentals of yoga and add speed, flowing transitions, and more challenging poses. Moderate classes embody the real fun and flow of Vinyasa yoga. These faster-paced and more vigorous classes link movement with breath to build strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Learn the freedom and joy of taking a moderate Vinyasa practice and adding in blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets. Find new ways to go deeper, feel more spacious, and challenge your preconceived ideas about who uses yoga props.
Empower is a gently heated, vigorous Vinyasa class meant to provide students with both challenge and encouragement. Experience the invigorating feeling of upbeat music, playful movements, and the always-present support of your teacher showing you the way to discover the true strength you hold within. You will feel powerful. You will be empowered.
Slow Power Flow is a fun, gradual burn that combines Vinyasa flow with longer holds and micro-movements in challenging poses. This practice allows you to find a deeper connection to both your body and mind. Slow Power Flow classes wind down with longer Yin-style holds in more gentle poses to help support and counterbalance the deep muscle work of our flow.
A hybrid Vinyasa and Restorative class, Flow and Restore gives you the best of both worlds. Enjoy a slow flow to ease into your practice and work away the stress, then settle in for a series of divine Restorative poses to reset your nervous system and deeply relax your body.
A hybrid Vinyasa and meditation class, Meditation Flow gives you the best of both worlds. Enjoy a gentle flow to ease into your practice, then settle in for a guided meditation.Meditation Flow will allow you to relax your body and unwind your mind, setting you up for a more balanced and clear-thinking rest of your day.
Energy Flow is a gentle Vinyasa flow infused with the grounding, balancing, and calming effects of EMYoga® (or Energy Medicine Yoga). During this relaxing practice we will use techniques such as tapping, self-massage, and reflex point holds to access and incorporate the many energy systems EMYoga® utilizes alongside gentle yoga postures and calming breathing techniques.
Chair yoga is a gentle, fun, accessible practice for all ages and bodies. In this class we weave together traditional yoga poses with functional and strength-building movements to strengthen our muscles, gain body awareness, and find better balance. Students remain mostly seated during the class, but will stand for supported balance practice and more advanced flows.
Prenatal Yoga is a gentle, relaxing, and fun class for students at all stages of their pregnancy. Classes are geared towards strengthening the childbirth muscles along with relieving some of the aches and pains that come along with pregnancy.
Learn the basics and fundamentals of yoga from a male teacher who has the lived experience of practicing yoga in a male body. Yoga for Men classes are for all men and male-presenting students and are suitable for students with a basic knowledge of yoga.
